In the year 2005 Vatavaran planned to interpolate its work in Shahpur Jat village. We wished to mitigate the socio-environmental problems of this 900-year-old village, which is an over crowded, haphazardly expanded jungle of concrete. The lack of cleanliness, greenery, haphazard traffic, potholed roads , water logging are effecting the residents, shoppers and businesses of the area negatively -- both psychologically as well as physically. We aim to address all these issues.
